Disney prepares to open Tiana's Palace

The Tiana's Palace restaurant at Disneyland Park will open on September 7, 2023, according to the Disneyland Resort.

The quick-service restaurant's menu will feature genuine New Orleans dishes, building on local favorites and examining seasonal flavors. It was inspired by Tiana's friends and adventures. Despite not being a character eating location, Tiana can be found in New Orleans Square.

"We are so excited to welcome you soon to see this exciting transformation, as well as mark the return of the Mint Julep Bar," reads the press release. You can enjoy new menu items at Tiana's Palace that embody Tiana's life narrative and pay homage to the flavors and style of New Orleans, with an effort to obtain some ingredients as locally as possible. Additionally, when the restaurant opens, you'll be able to mobile order these new items on the Disneyland app*. According to Disney Parks, the new ride will continue where the 2009 movie left off by focusing on Princess Tiana's life after she made her restaurant debut and wed Prince Naveen.

Walt Disney Imagineering is writing an original next chapter story for Tiana, according to the Disney Parks Blog. Visitors to the attraction will learn that she works with Tiana's Foods, an employee-owned cooperative, to expand her company. By combining her skills with those of the neighborhood, Tiana renovated an outdated salt mine and created a well-known business.
