Jada Pinkett Smith says her hair is 'trying to make a comeback'

Jada Pinkett Smith's hair loss is linked to one of Hollywood's most recent issues, and she's provided an update on it.

The actress, 51, has been open about her alopecia, a disorder that causes hair loss.

Pinkett Smith recently shared a prior selfie on her verified Instagram account of her bald head, as well as a current photo of her newly grown hair.

"This here hair is act'n like it's try'n to make a comeback," the "Scream 2" star captioned the photo. "There are still some issues, but — we'll see."

Will Smith, Pinkett Smith's husband, assaulted presenter Chris Rock at the 2022 Academy Awards after he made a joke about her hair loss.

The physical altercation, which was caught on tape, made international headlines and brought increased attention to Pinkett Smith's health.

Smith apologized for the event, but he was barred from attending the Oscars for the next decade.
