Jennifer Hudson and Common may have revealed more than simply being Chicago-born, successful musicians.
On Monday's broadcast of Hudson's talk program "The Jennifer Hudson Show," Common came as a guest with a huge flower arrangement, hinting that they're dating.
“I’m a host, so I have to ask you this question,” Hudson continued, “Are you dating anyone?”
Described his partner as "one of the most beautiful people I ever met in my life," he added. She is brilliant, loves God, and is humble. Common exclaimed that he had big expectations for her, including an EGOT, Oscar, and talk show success.
Hudson became an EGOT in 2022. In 2007, she earned a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her part in “Dreamgirls,” her debut film. She presents a chat show. His target is evident.
Hudson said she is also seeing a “very happy” person.
Since touching hands in New York in November, the pair has been dating.
Days later, Hudson told Gayle King on “CBS This Morning” that she's in a relationship but didn't say with whom.
“This relationship is a happy place for me,” Common stated Monday. “We keep it private but I want to acknowledge her wonderfulness.”
“I feel that same way about my partner,” Hudson winked.
