Hip-hop enthusiasts were anticipating the two-day music festival's lineup when Jermaine Dupri revealed it as part of the celebration of his record label's 30th anniversary.
"I'm going to do that to differentiate my event from everyone else's. You won't be allowed to be on my show if I didn't produce you or haven't collaborated with you in any way, he previously hinted in a REVOLT interview.
Fans no longer need to speculate as Xscape, Jagged Edge, Da Brat, TLC, and Anthony Hamilton have all been added to the lineup, according to The Source. Over the coming month, additional artists might be added.
Fans enjoy the pleasure of viewing numerous musicians in one spot owing to the eagerly awaited event, even though some of the stars are also on their own tours.
I don't sure if you heard, but I'm throwing a So So Def Festival Oct. 7 and 8 right here in the ATL, Dupri excitedly announced the festival on Instagram last month.
"We celebrating 30 years of So So Def - the label and productions," he concluded.
The infamous Central Park in Atlanta, Georgia, the home of the record company, will host the So So Def Festival. It happens on October 7 and 8 from 12 to 11 p.m. on Saturday and 12 to 10 p.m. on Sunday. On sale right now at the official festival website, tickets start at $125. There are tickets available for general admission and two-day early bird, and VIP options will be available soon.
Fans are welcome to participate in what is being touted as a historic festival of R&B and hip-hop music. Keep checking back for information on any acts that might be added to the stellar schedule.
