Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Parlay ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

Parlay is a social platform that provides community members with tools to share content, interact through comments and reactions, exchange private messages, listen to live radio, purchase event tickets and books, support creators through tips and donations, submit recipes, create Life Books, and list businesses in a networking directory.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you post. By posting content on Parlay, you grant us a license to display, reproduce, and distribute that content within the Platform. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to post any content you upload, including photos, videos, and text.

You agree not to post content that:

• Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or hateful.
• Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
• Contains malware, viruses, or other malicious code.
• Impersonates another person or entity.
• Promotes illegal activities or violence.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or is otherwise objectionable.

4A. User-Generated Content & Community Safety (EULA)

Parlay has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users.

Parlay is a community platform that includes user-generated content such as posts, comments, photos, videos, and messages. To keep our community safe, the following rules apply to all users:

• No objectionable content. You may not post content that is obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, hateful, harassing, bullying, threatening, violent, or that promotes illegal activity.
• No abusive behavior. You may not harass, stalk, threaten, or abuse other users. Repeated or severe violations will result in permanent account suspension.
• Zero tolerance. We reserve the right to immediately remove any content that violates these rules and to suspend or terminate the account of any user who posts such content or engages in abusive behavior, without prior warning.
• Reporting. Every user can report (flag) any post or comment they find objectionable. Our team reviews every report and takes appropriate action.
• Blocking. Every user can block any other user. Blocking immediately hides that user's posts and comments from your view and also reports them to our team for review.
• Consequences. Users who violate these rules may have their content removed, their accounts suspended, and in serious cases may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

24-hour action policy. We review every report and take appropriate action — including removing the offending content and suspending or terminating the responsible account — within 24 hours of receiving it.

By creating an account or logging in, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these community safety terms.

5. Purchases and Payments

• All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
• Ticket purchases are non-refundable unless an event is canceled by the organizer.
• Book purchases grant you access to the purchased content and are non-refundable once access is granted.
• Token purchases are non-refundable. Tokens can be used to tip creators or support content on the Platform.
• Donations to the Parlay Foundation (a program of Metro Church, a registered 501(c)(3)) are non-refundable.
• Business listing subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis and can be canceled at any time.

6. Creator Earnings and Payouts

Creators who earn tips or sales revenue on the Platform must connect a Stripe account to receive payouts. Parlay Brand Co. retains a percentage of sales as a platform fee. Payouts are processed through Stripe and are subject to Stripe's terms and processing times.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any illegal purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform's systems or other users' accounts.
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the Platform.
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Platform.
• Harass, stalk, or threaten other users.

8. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, features, and branding, is the property of Parlay Brand Co. and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Platform without our permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

Parlay is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. We are not responsible for the content posted by users or the conduct of other users.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your content may be removed from the Platform.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
